CONTROLLING OILY FACE IN THE TROPICS.......what works for you?

Jacqui herself
Living in the tropics can be pretty tricky for the women who love to pamper their skin especially fair skins.

You never could tell the reaction of that expensive jar of caviar moisturizer if you walk out of the door during the hot day.

Did i hear you say - use spf? Days are gone when spfs work in the tropics..at least in my own region..

It does not matter if its spf 30 or higher....the sun we have presently care less about spf and even react negatively to it causing more shine, burns and skin irritations for users.

What works for me?
I try going with more natural/organic stuff and use makeup lightly.  As a fair skin person with oily skin, i try not to apply lotion/cream in the morning and use cake/pressed/loose powder to reduce shine. Liquid foundation works better for me at nights. Ofcourse i love my natural fresh face sheabutter to cream my face at nights.  Not all sheabutters works for the face so if you want to do my style, be careful the specie of sheabutter you use or else you damage your face and darken your complexion as well..

If you live in the tropics, i suggest you tone down on too much chemicals on your skin. Use natural products like wild honey, olive oil, fresh Aloe for your home made facials.(get expert coaching to guide you.....jacqui can guide you on this )   Wild honey can do better than that clay/peel mask filled with too much chemicals.

There is this old tale that those with oily skin should not moisturize.....that is not true. Just go for oily free moisturizers so you do  not break out.

OILY SKIN CAN BE TROUBLESOME TO MANAGE IN THE TROPICS BUT IT IS ALSO ONE OF THE BEST SKIN TYPES.- Jacqui
