Being a single mother most times in Africa is not by choice but by desperate situations most women find themselves!!! When a woman is faced with severe domestic battering/violence, it gets to a time when she could not endure it and the only alternative left for such a woman is to escape her matrimonial home to avoid being killed by the estranged husband. There is also a situation where most men abandoned their wives and children and they never see him till years later. In a situation like this, such women have  no alternative than to face the training and catering of their children alone. In Africa, raising and catering for little children all alone by a woman is a very tedious task considering the harsh economic situations coupled with stigmatization. Today, 18th of November is my birthday and am dedicating this post to me and all women globally who understand that being a woman(single/married) does not mean , you should sit, fold your hands and expect Government and Men  to solve your life problems .   As a Youth and Women Empowerment advocate, i have been following the trends of women both here in Africa where i belong and women in other parts of the world.  When it comes to talents and inner values expositions, the African women are still struggling to push their heads up and those who could not persevere always give up and surrender to what ever life gives to them. In our present age, you do not wait any longer for life to give you what you want, you go for what you want by any reasonable/decent means you can.  I want to take time to talk about this lousy -crappy statements i hear every time the media interview female prostitutes and all the excuse they give for  selling their body is -''Poverty and.....

The automobile purchase saga trailing  the Aviation minister of Nigeria Princess Stella Odua  generated so much dust and controversy among Nigerians to the extent that even the  market women, farmers in the rural areas, who ordinarily hardly pay attention to Government issues, got a wind of it.  This Drama got to a stage that people are divided with all kinds of opinion regarding this.
