How many times have you been rejected by Interviewers/employers even when qualified for the job?  I bet you swore not to write any more Resume/CV. It could be frustrating when you want to make a decent living to boost your income and employers ask you irritating/irrelevant questions that makes you want to simply insult them back and walk away. I say insulting because most questions most employers ask job seekers could be insulting and demoralizing. The fact that someone is looking for a job does not mean he/she is a total write off, a no good, a loser or even worse, desperate. Why is it that a  graduate job seeker can work in a restaurant/fastfood abroad and earn good money yet such graduate will be laughed at here in Nigeria if applied for such a job? At the end she/he will never get that job no matter how poor the salary is. Are Nigerian Employers part of the unemployment rut we have in Nigeria today?  Why do employers look down and see as despera...

Being a single mother most times in Africa is not by choice but by desperate situations most women find themselves!!! When a woman is faced with severe domestic battering/violence, it gets to a time when she could not endure it and the only alternative left for such a woman is to escape her matrimonial home to avoid being killed by the estranged husband. There is also a situation where most men abandoned their wives and children and they never see him till years later. In a situation like this, such women have  no alternative than to face the training and catering of their children alone. In Africa, raising and catering for little children all alone by a woman is a very tedious task considering the harsh economic situations coupled with stigmatization. She is still nursing her baby, she works 9-5...she still comes back to cook and attend to the husband as well. How does such a woman cope with all these and still be successful? Are there ways the family can help out to make life easy for her? A woman in such a situation can really get exhausted at the end of the day so, it is very vital the husband in particular pay great attention to her. When she feels like not making love at nights, the husband should understand and find ways to still connect romantically with her rather than get angry and abandon her. . At the office, she should try and delegate duties and not over stress herself to do all at the same time. As a working woman that just gave birth, ensure you try as much as you can not to neglect your personal body hygiene due to tiredness. Jacqui herself Living in the tropics can be pretty tricky for the women who love to pamper their skin especially fair skins. You never could tell the reaction of that expensive jar of caviar moisturizer if you walk out of the door during the hot day. Did i hear you say - use spf? Days are gone when spfs work in the tropics..at least in my own region.. It does not matter if its spf 30 or higher....the sun we have presently care less about spf and even react negatively to it causing more shine, burns and skin irritations for users. What works for me?  I try going with more natural/organic stuff and use makeup lightly.  As a fair skin person with oily skin, i try not to apply lotion/cream in the morning and use cake/pressed/loose powder to reduce shine.
